This policy explains what information SolarKit.co (the "site") handles and your choices. The short version: we have no accounts, no forms, no ad trackers and no newsletter. We never see your Amazon order or payment details.

1. Hosting and edge logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and block abuse, Cloudflare processes standard request data such as IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, referrer and time. We use this only in aggregate for security and uptime. Cloudflare handles it under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. If we enable Cloudflare Web Analytics, it is cookieless and does not build profiles.

2. Cookies on SolarKit.co

SolarKit.co sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own.

3. Affiliate links and third-party cookies

Product links point to Amazon with our Associates tag (tag=5162787-20). When you click one, you leave SolarKit.co. Amazon may set cookies in your browser so it can attribute a qualifying purchase to us and pay a commission. Those cookies are set and controlled by Amazon under the Amazon Privacy Notice.

Amazon reports to us only aggregate totals such as clicks, items ordered and earnings. SolarKit.co collects zero payment information, zero shipping addresses and zero personal order data, and we cannot see who bought what.

You can block or clear third-party cookies in your browser settings. Doing so does not change the price you pay.

4. Email

If you email [email protected], we receive your address and what you send. We use it only to reply, keep it no longer than needed, and never sell it or add you to a list.

5. Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

6. Your choices under the Colorado Privacy Act and CCPA

Colorado residents (Colorado Privacy Act) and California residents (CCPA as amended by CPRA) may ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold, and may opt out of sale, targeted advertising and profiling. Because we do not sell data or run targeted ads, there is nothing to opt out of on our side, but we honor Global Privacy Control signals. Send any request to [email protected] and we will reply within 45 days. You may appeal a decision by replying to our response; Colorado residents may also contact the Colorado Attorney General.

7. Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

8. Security and retention

The site is static and served over HTTPS. We keep email only as long as needed to answer it.
